Asbury Park, May 5, 2021 – Perennis Financial Planning, LLC’s generous contribution to the Teen Think Tank Project’s college scholarship program will be providing three high achieving program graduates with a college scholarship.
The Parsippany based financial firm recently funded $1,500 in college scholarships for Teen Think Tank Project research associates. The scholarships will be awarded to three high achieving program graduates at the conclusion of the summer research cohorts. One student from each summer research cohort will be selected to receive a $500 college scholarship.
Perennis’ generosity is in line with founder Mary Pascarella’s mindset of supporting the community. Already actively involved with local schools and organizations, Pascarella was drawn to the Teen Think Tank Project’s vision of advancing social justice by giving teens a voice in the world they will inherit. “Our mission at Perennis Financial Planning is to educate and empower our clients to make smart decisions concerning their current and future financial well-being,” said Pascarella. “What better way is there to secure our future well-being, than to “invest” in these students and future leaders of our country.”
Pascarella has supported the education start-up since its inception last year and has been impressed with the caliber of students enrolled in the program, as well as the innovative curriculum that is designed to provide students with a social justice education while also equipping them with the skills necessary to become highly effective leaders and community members. “In addition to providing teens with tools necessary to become agents of change, a major part of our mission is to make sure our students have the resources to continue on that journey once they graduate from our program.
